Friday 7:30 AM Early Bird Continental Breakfast. The coffee pot will be on.
9 AM Car pool to the Tall Grass Praire Preserve (16 miles)
for a group tour of the 1881 ranch house, barn and out building. Then a one
hour bus tour (no charge).
Noon Lunch on your own.
6:30 PM Dinner at the Hays House (112 W Main, approx 3 miles).
Order from the menu.
Saturday 7:30
AM Early Bird Continental Breakfast.
The coffee pot will be on.
10 AM Parade in Council Groves
Noon Lunch on your own. There will be vendors in the parade
area.
6 PM Dinner at the Trail Days Café & Museum (803 W.
Main). Approx $10.

Directions: From the junction of US 56 and
Kansas 177 (Center of Council Groves) go 3 miles north on Kansas 177. The
Richey Cove Recreation Area will be on your left. Expect some type of
indicator, such as a sign, flags or balloons, at the entrance.
Do not call the campground, reservations have been
taken care of.
