Wednesday
7:00pm: Reception: Red (Strawberries), White (Ice Cream) and Blue (Blueberries) and cookies
Thursday
8:30am: Breakfast: Casserole, Juice, Bagels and Toast
11:00am: Tour of Grace Episcopal Church. Leave RV Park at 10:30am
Lunch on your own
6:30pm: Dinner: All-American Picnic (grilled hamburgers with all the fix-ins, potato salad, coleslaw, baked-beans and apple pie) catered by HyVee. Cost is $8 per person.
Friday
8:30am: Breakfast: French Toast, Sausage and Fruit
Friday’s Activities:
Ladies: 10:30 am: Candy making demonstration at Hazel Hill Chocolate Traditions. Depart park at 10am.
Lunch downtown – lots of choices
1:30pm: Make your own candle at Marion Lane Candles. Cost $5-$16 depending upon the candle you choose.
Times to be announced.
Men: 10:30am: Combat air museum. $6.
Lunch on your own
6:30pm: Dinner: Lonnie “Q” BBQ restaurant next door to RV Park. Order from the menu.
8:30am: Breakfast: Get-away breakfast (cereal, pastries, and juice)
Directions to the park: From I-70, take the Carnahan Ave. Exit (Exit 364A – East bound) or Exit 364B – West bound), go 0.6 miles South on SE Deer Creek Pkwy/SE Carnahan Ave. Turn left onto SE 21st Street, go 0.1 mile East. The RV Park is on your left.
Reservations for the RV Park are to be made through Ginny Weaver (home: 816-635-3627) (cell: 816-830-8508). Since the deadline has passed call Ginny and she will try to get you added. The RV Park group rate is $26/night.
